Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit (typically 25% of your total quote) is required to secure your date. No booking is confirmed until the deposit is received.

  • The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before your event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • For bookings made within 14 days of the event, the full balance is payable at the time of booking.

  • Late payments may result in cancellation of services at our discretion.

Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellation more than 30 days before your event: You will receive a refund of any amount paid, minus the deposit.

  • Cancellation within 14–30 days of the event: 50% of the total balance will be retained.

  • Cancellation within 14 days of the event: The full balance is non-refundable, due to styling prep, staffing, and materials already allocated.

If SJ Luxury Creations must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued, or an alternative solution offered wherever possible.

Changes & Amendments

  • You may request changes to your booked package up to 14 days before the event, subject to availability.

  • We will do our best to accommodate all requests but cannot guarantee late changes to styling, props, or floral elements.

  • Significant changes may incur additional charges.

Damage, Loss & Liability

  • All décor items, props, and hired equipment remain the property of SJ Luxury Creations at all times.

  • You (the client) are responsible for the condition of all hired items from delivery to collection.

  • Any loss, damage or excessive cleaning required after your event will be charged to you at full replacement cost.

  • We are not liable for any injury, accident, or damage caused by improper use or interference with props, balloon installations or décor.

Venue Access & Setup

  • You must ensure we have suitable access to the venue, including setup and pack-down time.

  • Any restrictions (e.g. delivery times, loading conditions, stairs, parking) must be communicated in advance.

  • If access is delayed or restricted on the day, we may not be able to complete the styling as agreed — and refunds will not be issued for circumstances beyond our control.

Outdoor Installations

  • For outdoor setups, suitable weather conditions must be in place. Balloon styling, arches, and other elements may not be installed outdoors in windy, wet or extreme weather conditions.

  • SJ Luxury Creations reserves the right to move or adjust your décor to preserve safety and styling quality.

  • Refunds are not issued for weather-related changes beyond our control.

Client Responsibilities

By booking with SJ Luxury Creations, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate event details and contact information

  • Communicate any venue restrictions or special requirements

  • Ensure safe and secure conditions at the event site

  • Treat all hired décor with care and respect

  • Pay all balances on time

Photography & Promotion

We reserve the right to photograph our styling and use the images for marketing purposes, including social media and website galleries.

If you do not wish your images to be used, please let us know in writing before your event.

Force Majeure

SJ Luxury Creations will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to perform services due to events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: extreme weather, illness, accidents, venue closure, transport disruption, or government restrictions.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
